Chris, Emma, Joe, Marko and Jonathan are off to the 100th Annual Meeting of Ecological Society of America (ESA) Meeting in Baltimore, Maryland. Our group will be presenting four talks in the community assembly and neutral theory session on projects ranging from a meta-analysis of disturbance effects on beta-diversity to comparative studies of tree, pond, and plant-pollinator community assembly across biogeographic gradients:
- Chris – Synthesis of disturbance and dispersal effects on beta-diversity
- Emma – Stochasticity and environmental filtering across latitudes
- Marko – Species-pool functional diversity and community assembly
